May 11, 2013, Mumbai: Talented musician and maestro conductor for the night, Karsh Kale performed at the Indus Pride #Strangebrew Experience gig with his band, Karsh Kale Collectiv at Blue Frog last week. The Collectiv is made up of artists Kale often collaborates with for his live gigs including singers Shilpa Rao, Shruti Pathak, Monali Thakur and Benny Dayal, flautist Ajay Prasanna, guitarists Warren Mendonsa and Gaurav Gupta, drummer Jai Row Kavi and DJ Jayant Luthra. The Collectiv played to a packed crowd of some 800 odd guests who were transported into Kale’s cinematic world through his hour-long set. The Collectiv played material from Kale’s last album ”Cinema,” besides Shiva, Glorious, Train Song and Hallelujah.
