August 26, 2013: If punk was a religion, Mumbai pilgrims would brave bad traffic for a killer lineup and severely jump-inducing moshing. That would be the greatest salutation as the congregated faithful this night proved. On a night that held city traffic hostage, fans thronged the narrow gastropub Kino 108, Andheri for the first edition of Vans Fresh Off The Wall. Mumbai punk and alt rockers The Lightyears Explode and Blek played devastatingly brilliant, hour-long sets at the stage where they’ve earlier played for only 30 minutes. Delhi’s electro duo Teddy Boy Kill too brought on their eclectic dance music to the stage. Leaving out all the spoilers on this surpise-filled night, we’ve got photos and videos for you to catch on all the action from right where you’re sitting.
