Brodha V

This Macha is dripping with attitude and how! Bengaluru-based rapper and producer Vighnesh Shivanand has been raising a storm in the hip-hop community for a while. Now Brodha V, his stage avatar, has released a new music video for Aigiri Nandini. The four-minute video is all about female empowerment and is interspersed with Goddess Durga chant. Brodha V’s rhymes and clean and refined. The hip-hop artist is also part of a three member crew called Machas with Attitude, who have been making mixtapes for over six years. His solo singles, with videos, are online that include the infectious Aathma Raama, After Party ft Avinash Bhatt and our favourite On My Own ft Avinash Bhatt. The latter song recounts Brodha V’s personal story of how he fought all odds and bad vibes to become a hip-hop artist. Some neat stuff this.
