YouTube Channel BalconyTV Mumbai only recently hosted The Lightyears Explode, performing one their track “Diet Coke”. The band is composed of Aaron Carvalho on drums, Shalom Benjamin on bass guitar and Saurabh Roy on guitars and vocals. The alternative punk rock outfit began making music five years ago in 2009, and considers its genre to be a very specific, a very offbeat “Masala Punk”. It’s strange to see this high-octane band so chilled out, and playing a song from one place itself. Then again, that’s what an acoustic setting like that of BalconyTV Mumbai supports.
