Here he is. The “change-the-world,” revolution-loving, incorrigible, non-conformist, computer-savvy geek hippy. Filmmaker Joshua Michael Stern’s biographical sketch of Apple co-founder and messiah Steve Jobs, “Jobs” has been in the works for a while now. The official trailer dropped last week and it’s all that you can imagine a biographical to be - revelatory, reductive and reiterating everything one has read, heard and gossiped over the questionable yet highly beneficial life of Jobs. Tracing his life back from school where he meets Steve Wozniak and starts pioneering Apple computer technology, to the final frame of the trailer capturing his reflection in the iPhone 4s. Essayed by general ambassador douchebaggery Ashton Kutcher, “Jobs” by the looks of it could be the movie of his career. The movie is slated to hit theaters on August 16, 2013.
