The first trailer was disappointing. I moved the movie from my only-on-the-big-screen list to my when-it’s-out-on-DVD list. But Disney’s done magic with the second one and it just looks awesome. There’s more meat in this trailer with some smashing shots of what to expect when we do see the movie on the big screen. The bird’s eye view shot of the protagonist John Reid (Armie Hammer) waking up blew my mind along with some great camaraderie humor and action shots of Reid and Tonto (Johnny Depp). I’m happy to have shifted lists again and am looking forward to what Director Gore Verbinski will do with this one.
