Singer/songwriter Rachel Varghese performed alongside her back up band Rachel And The Plutonians made up of Stuart DaCosta (Something Relevant) on bass, Yohann Marshall (The Family Chesse) on percussion, Navneeth Narasimhan on lead guitar and Samir Karnik on acoustic guitar. Varghese’s riveting vocals kept the audience’s eyes transfixed on her even as the split screen behind the band was screening a more entertaining sport (IPL live). The one-hour performance consisted of originals and covers like Zero Seven’s Pop Up Art. The night was opened by a three piece pop-rock band Titanium.
