The film, which is in black and white, contains much historical footage and many interviews. Produced during the Vietnam War, the film was greeted with hostility by many audiences, with bomb threats and vandalism directed at theatres that showed it.

Oorvazi, a filmmaker and educator, is the Director of SBI Impresario Pvt. Ltd, a film production media company. Her DVD introduced the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique to India last year.
