Something Relevant is an indie band from Mumbai, India. ‘STR’, as they are popularly known in their hometown, was formed in 2003 when most of the band was at St. Xavier’s College. STR went on to play countless shows over the next seven years, playing constantly in Mumbai, across India and abroad. Something Relevant because of their upbeat music quickly became a popular festival band in India and abroad at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Java Jazz Festival.
