Beyonce at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards

Music’s biggest diva is prepping for the busiest year ever. Less than a month ago, Beyonce’s former band Destiny’s Child released their compilation album called “Love Songs,” which pretty much made for their greatest hits record as well. At the recently concluded 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Beyonce picked up the Grammy for Best Traditional R’n'B Performance for her song Love On Top. On February 16th, her self produced documentary on her life on and off stage including her daughter with husband Jay-Z Blue Ivy, “Life Is But A Dream” is set to premiere on HBO.

And that is not all. In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, she described her new albums as a mix of “4″ and “I Am” … “Sasha Fierce.”  The album will be “a lot more sensual” and “empowering” than any of her older music and she has baby Blue Ivy to thank for it. As if she already hadn’t done got on any of those redeeming Beyonce qualities before.

“Right now, after giving birth, I really understand the power of my body,” she tells Vogue. “I just feel my body means something completely different. I feel a lot more confident about it. Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. I feel a lot more like a woman; more feminine, more sensual. And no shame.”

Beyonce has been recording her fifth album at her mansion in the Hamptons. She’s pretty much finished laying it down this past summer, while she nursed Blue Ivy. The album contains collaborations with current stage God Justin Timberlake, after his smashing performance at the Grammys. Timbaland will also feature on the album. The musicians pretty much lived it up at the Carters mansion in the New York suburb. ”We had dinners with the producers every day, like a family,” she says. “It was like a camp — weekends off. You could go and jump in the pool and ride bikes … the ocean and grass and sunshine. … It was really a safe place.” The good life with Jay-Z and friends.
