A year into curating the best of alternative Indian sounds from rock, folk, indi, indie, EDM and more, the online music store is celebrating their first anniversary this week. To stomp about and give back to their audience, the webstore has released their second compilation “Best Of OKListen Vol 2.”
The 12-track mixtape features indie releases between the six month period of Jan 15 to Jun 15, 2013. It features Mumbai indie pop-rockers Spud In The Box’s infectious Lens Life from their EP “Attention Please.” Bangalore folk rockers Lagori’s contentious Jeene Do from their self-titled album, blues crew Blues Conscience’s homage Janis from “Down & Dirty” and more.
