The vineyards make their way to Bandra for the 4th annual Bandra Wine Tasting Festival on the 9th and the 10th of November 2013.
Mingle with wine makers, oenophiles and people simple curious about wine in a festival that showcases over a dozen Indian and International wines alongside a food court and exhibition stalls. Some of the wine brands we’re looking forward to are Reveilo, Fratelli, Pause and Vallonne wines. The festival also offers seminars, cooking demonstrations, blind tasting contests, wine walks, a variety of cheese and grape stomping.
The festival will also be a venue for artists, Moksha Rao, Jaishree Rao, Arif Shaikh, Uma Ramakrishnan and Anil Powle to create works of art while you sip your wine. Author, Amruta Dongray will also read from her book of verses, PASTPRESENT. The verses are her take on social and socio- political issues. Along with the above, prepare to be entertained by live bands and move your feet in accordance to Latin Dancing.
The festival is open from 12noon to 10pm on both days. Passes are available at the venue or on bookmyshow.com but do note that the passes do not include an extra Rs 100 per day guest fee issued by the De’Monte Park. This will need to be paid at the venue.
