Fans will also get backstage access and get to spend some time with the YouTube stars performing. YouTube FanFest’s debut edition was held in Singapore in May 2013. In it’s second edition, it has turned into a multi-city property with Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney as it’s three fest destinations. India currently has 55 million YouTube users, accounting for a sizeable user base of the website. Their 2014 outing in India is hence a good numbers game.“We’re thrilled to be able to take the YouTube FanFest around Asia Pacific in 2014 and where better than India to start the tour? This is a genuinely global platform that showcases some of India’s finest up and coming creative talent to the world, and let’s not forget Mumbai’s awesome fans,” says Jasper Donat, President, Music Matters and CEO, Branded Ltd, who have partnered with YouTube to stage the fest.
