Let’s just call Thursdays the new mid-week party day shall we, well for the indie scene anyway. ennui.BOMB’s flagship gig series BOMB Thursdays now has two venues, instead of one. While 3 Wise Monkeys hosts BOMB Thursdays on the last Thursday of the month, Hard Rock Cafe, Andheri will get the second one. And for the latter’s debut, the gig series favourite band The Lightyears Explode return to the stage. If the Mumbai-based punk rockers had a good 2013 on the heels of their EP “The Revenge of Kalicharan,” most of the big moments were from their frequent sets at the gig series stage in it’s previous venue, Kino 108. Be assured you are bound to witness and bouncy, hard-hitting, super energized set this week.
Also performing will be extremely talented and young singer/songwriter Tejas Menon. We are hoping he will play his cover of The Lightyears Explode track Kunj Gutka that he did for the web series No Cover Charge.
