Uday Benegal
Uday Benegal is not only a gifted musician but also a proficient writer and filmmaker. However, he is best known as the lead singer and founder of the revolutionary band Indus Creed. Benegal’s other music based projects include Indo-rock and funk band Alms For Shanti. Besides his achievements as a rockstar, Uday has also attempted playback singing for the movie Wake Up Sid. He has also been a featured writer, contributing to an innumerable number of publications like The Village Voice, Mid Day, Rolling Stone India, Time Out New York, Asian Age etc. Goodbye, Cry, Bulletproof are some of Uday’s greatest songs from Indus Creed.
Frisky Pints
Frisky Pints started when Joseph and Danny met in Camden Town, London in 2010. Armed with a dream of making a band and sharing their love of music with the rest of the world, they returned to India to meet up with friends and now fellow band mates Anggu and Valentino and hence officially started Frisky pints. The name ‘Frisky Pints’ comes from their love of having fun together and their love for their drinks. The band members originally hail from Mizoram, but currently consider New Delhi their home.
