October 12, 2022: The fourth edition of the annual nation-wide rock contest saw a befittingly loud finale over the weekend, as Harley Rock Riders downed the curtains in it’s first show in Mumbai. Harleys proudly packed outside Studio No 3 at Bandra’s Mehboob Studios and even on stage formed the background as the three finalist bands Chennai’s Grey Shack, Assam’s Filharmonix and Delhi’s Third Eye Destruction went head to head to ace the Find Your Freedom contest. Grey Shack won Band Of The Year and get to perform at the European Bike Week 2014, Austria. Filharmonix’s Anurag Saikia took home a Gibson six-string as Guitarist Of The Year. We were hoping to spot more HOG riders in the crowd, that was mostly made of scenesters and fans of the bands performing. Nonetheless, it wasn’t a night to be missed with rock electro superstars Shaai’r + Func, glam rockers Overhung and Chennai rock vets Junkyard Groove gave some stellar and memorable performances. The visuals accompanying the acts and some antics on account of the band members themselves, made the gig truly spectacular.
