Paratra is the brainchild of Samron, who brought the band together in 2012 and has put in tremendous creative talent into the music. He plays lead and rhythm guitars, besides playing an active part in the Indian metal scene since 2000. He has been playing guitars for more than 10 years now and he is also the vocalist of metal bands SystemHouse33 and Sceptre.
Danny plays bass and is also a trained sound engineer from Perth. He is better known for having the knack of creating and recording music from the abstract. He is also the lead vocalist of Paratra’s debut album, Accumbus. Besides Paratra, Danny is also the lead guitarist for groove metal band SystemHouse33.
Akshat plays the electric sitar in Paratra. The sitarist has been trained in Hindustani Classical by Ustad Qumar Ali Khan of Senia Gharana. Being a fan of ambient music, he is a first generation composer who believes music is in the air and we are just interpreters. Akshat considers himself to be a dreamer, philosopher and philanthropist and this is evident in the raags on the tracks of Paratra.
Symphony Novel started as a solo project by Rachit Sachdeva in early 2012. The music is a unique combination of progressive/instrumental/experimental/post rock.

Agnya is a fusion band from Mumbai. It is the coming together of sound, eclectic musicians to fuse Indian ragas with various genres of music. To create soundscapes. To experiment. Agnya was formed in 2011 by Santosh Jayaram (Electric Veena and Classical vocal) and Amrit Kapoor (Guitar) after realising they enjoyed experimenting and combining diverse eclectic sounds from across the eastern and western worlds.
Bassist Gurdip Singh Narang soon joined the band and has played a key part in bringing in the ‘ambient’ sounds to their music, whilst the drummer Mayank Sharma, coming from the ‘underground’ (metal) scene brought in the killer ‘rock’ grooves.
At the band’s core is the desire to collaborate and create heart-felt melodies inspired by each of their own individual backgrounds. The result is a melting pot of genres, sounds and influences from all across the musical spectrum. The band flirts with genres like jazz, blues, classical and western.
