A 6-module workshop that aims to equip aspiring writers with the necessary skills and knowledge in their quest to getting published. What constitutes ‘fresh’ and ‘new’ writing? What does it mean to ‘flesh out’ characters? Why do some stories ‘fall flat?’ Using theatre-based games and exhaustive examples from world literature, the workshop is delivered in a fun and lively environment by encouraging spontaneous creative thinking, ideation and creative articulation.
The woskshop will be held every Saturday from Feb 22 to March 29, 2022
Objectives of the Workshop:
To promote and teach the writing craft to all aspiring writers
To share with participants all information and writing skills necessary for them to publish their work in reputed online and print media.
Module 1: Story and Elements of a Story
Module 2: A to Z of characterization
Module 3: Conflict in the story and Conflicts in Scene
Module 4: Plotting & Story Structure
Module 5: Time, Place & Setting
Module 6: How to get Published (this will be like a classroom session because it is dissemination of information)
